“Stay (Be Honest)” is an up-tempo pop-rock song about facing difficult conversations in relationships. It’s a song about love, fighting, friendships, breakups, and marriage. While the rhythm and progression of the chorus offer a head-bobbing, dancy groove, the lyrics ask the listener to confront one of life’s many challenges and just be honest.
