Well, this song is a little different. A few years ago, the guys who make the Penny Arcade online comic strip launched a Kickstarter for a fantasy based role-playing board game that they created called THORNWATCH. During that Kickstarter campaign, they asked fans and backers to write songs based on the world of Thornwatch to be included on a compilation that they would release with the game. A great friend of mine named CJ brought this whole thing to my attention, and asked if I would be willing to write a folk-campfire type of ballad to submit to the compilation. He wrote the lyrics, I wrote the music, and this is what we came up with. Dustin and I revamped the song a little bit, and re-recorded it for the Fan Club. We know it's not our usual sound, but we hope you like it regardless.
